Role Title: Accounts Assistant
Job Description:
As an integral part of our Accounts team, the Accounts Assistant will take on a diverse role, responsible for managing the purchase ledger and maintaining various financial records. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a vital role in all aspects of accounts, including contributing to the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Role/Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing: Handle monthly and weekly payroll processing.
Financial Reporting: Generate aged debtor reports and assist in producing the balance sheet and profit & loss statements.
Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and reconcile supplier accounts.
Purchase Order Management: Ensure that all purchases are supported by authorized purchase orders.
Supplier Interaction: Address supplier queries via telephone and email.
Sales Ledger: Respond to external and internal sales ledger queries.
Month-End Procedures: Assist in month-end procedures, including preparing and posting month-end journals, prepayments, and accruals.
