Role Title: Business Development Manager

Purpose of the Job:

As a Business Development Manager at HCL, your primary responsibility is to drive the development of new business opportunities and manage relationships with new and existing clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in the Drainage Industry who are eager to take their career to the next level.

Specific Duties:

Business Development:

Service Promotion: Promote and sell HCL's various services to both new and existing clients.

Lead Generation: Identify and follow up on potential clients and business opportunities to expand the company's reach.

Client Engagement: Plan and prepare compelling presentations for clients, showcasing HCL's services and capabilities.

Proposal Writing: Prepare detailed reports and proposals for clients and new business areas, demonstrating HCL's value proposition.

Cold Calling: Utilize proactive cold-calling techniques to initiate and nurture client relationships.

Problem Solving: Provide innovative solutions to address both internal challenges within Hydro Cleansing and external issues faced by clients.

Site Visits: Arrange and attend site visits to gather essential information for pricing and project assessment.

Reporting: Produce reports to track progress toward targets and the development of new business opportunities.

Customer Relations:

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients.

Networking: Actively network with potential clients to expand HCL's presence and influence in the industry.


  • Industry Expertise: Previous experience within the drainage, environmental services, or waste management industry is essential.
