Role Overview:
Working within the Compliance Department, the Compliance & PQQ Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Their primary responsibility is to complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and support the Compliance Manager with other compliance tasks to ensure the organization operates within legal and ethical boundaries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PQQ Management:
Research and Analysis:
Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, industry guidelines, and best practices to keep the Compliance Manager informed about changes that could impact the organization.
Documentation:
Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, such as policies, procedures, reports, and PQQ submissions.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Participate in monitoring activities to assess the organization's compliance with relevant regulations. Help prepare regular compliance reports for management and regulatory authorities as required.
Risk Assessment:
Assist in identifying potential compliance risks, vulnerabilities, and legal register requirements within the organization in line with ISO 9001:2015 & 14001:2015 UKAS Accredited Systems. Collaborate with the compliance team to develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
Coordination:
Assist in coordinating internal audits and reviews to assess compliance levels. Collaborate with different departments to ensure that compliance-related tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Data Management:
Help manage data related to compliance activities, including maintaining databases and tracking compliance metrics.
Policy Implementation:
Support the implementation of new compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines across the organization.
Regulatory Updates:
Stay updated on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the organization's compliance practices remain current.
Ethical Guidance:
Provide guidance to employees on ethical conduct and compliance-related matters.
