The Role: We are seeking a proactive Environmental Researcher who is passionate about exploring a broad spectrum of community issues, from environmental concerns to road and housing conditions. This role is vital for someone eager to use social media to influence public opinion and advocate for policy changes across diverse topics.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive investigations into waste disposal practices of major projects within London to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Verify licensing and regulatory adherence of waste disposal sites.
• Address a wide array of community issues, including political, environmental, road, and housing conditions, through research and advocacy.
• Collaborate with local authorities and environmental agencies to enhance community welfare.
• Produce detailed, accessible reports and communications for various stakeholders.
• Develop and manage content for our social media channels, aiming to educate, engage, and mobilize the community on a variety of issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience in environmental research or a similar role with a broad focus on community issues.
• Strong skills in social media strategy and digital communication tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
