We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team and lead our financial control functions to ensure the continued success and growth of our business.
Job Overview: As a Finance Manager at HCL Fleet Services, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire financial control of our organization. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our growing business, ensuring accurate financial records, budgeting, forecasting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our organic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and file VAT returns quarterly
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
- Create and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to guide decision-making.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Provide insights into financial performance, risks, and opportunities to the executive team.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including transport managers and the commercial workshop manager, to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational activities.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and present financial reports to the management team and external stakeholders as required.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and tax requirements.
Cash Management:
- Manage working capital and cash flow to support day-to-day operations and growth initiatives.
Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, as well as an MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA), is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a growing business environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel. Xero
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude towards change and growth.
