Position Summary:

Hydro Cleansing Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to join our team in Surrey. The Operations Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The Operations Assistant will work closely with the Operations team to support the smooth running of the department and assist with various operational tasks and projects. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of standardized procedures and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

• Provide administrative support to the Operations team, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and maintaining records.

• Prepare, review, and cross-check all paperwork from the Call Centre and Operations teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, timekeeping, and holiday requests.

Operational Coordination:

• Support the Operations Manager in allocating the correct staff and equipment to jobs, ensuring all necessary resources are in place.

• Assist in tracking and evaluating performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Facilitate effective communication within the Operations department and across other teams to ensure alignment on project goals and operational tasks.

• Assist in the timely submission of payroll for both weekly and monthly runs.

Project Assistance:

• Collaborate with various departments to identify operational needs and provide support in implementing improvement initiatives.

• Assist with ad hoc requests from the Operations Manager and other senior management as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in an administrative or operations support role.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

• A background in logistics or supply chain is advantageous but not required.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
