Job Title: Workshop Driver/Yardman (HGV Class 1 or 2 Driver)

Location: Croydon

Salary: £35,000 per year

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 5 pm (including a 1-hour paid lunch break)

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Workshop Driver/Yardman with an HGV Class 1 or 2 licence to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection, delivery, and transportation of vehicles, as well as supporting the daily operations of our workshop and yard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport vehicles to and from MOT appointments.
• Conduct collections and deliveries to and from customers.
• Perform road tests to ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition.
• Move vehicles around the workshop and yard as needed.
• Collect and deliver parts to and from repair centres.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 driving licence.
• Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operations and maintenance.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
